Payton Thompson's big game helped extend Monmouth-Roseville's winning streak to seven on Friday. Hall/Putnam County had no answer to Thompson as he rushed for 191 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries. Thompson really tore up the turf during one magnificent 70-yard run.

Princeton found a leader in Casey Etheridge as the team took down Mendota on Friday. Etheridge was unstoppable, rushing for 171 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries.

Mendota's probably not too fond of Etheridge given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Etheridge saw the Trojans), he rushed for 119 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries.

Nicholas Huston was instrumental in extending Monmouth-Roseville's winning streak to seven on Friday. Huston was unstoppable, making six total tackles (3.0 for loss).

If history really does repeat itself, Huston might just drop another big game when he faces off against Rockridge on Saturday. When Huston last faced the Rockets back in September of 2023, he picked up a sack, forced a fumble, and made six total tackles.
