Snowflake is 9-1 against Holbrook since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Lobos will host the Roadrunners at 2:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Snowflake has three straight victories, Holbrook has seven straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Thursday, Snowflake got the win against Blue Ridge by a conclusive 11-3. The result was nothing new for the Lobos, who have now won 11 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Kashlynn Cantrell made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. Cantrell was also solid in the batter's box, getting three hits from her four at bats. She is on a roll when it comes to hits, as she's now got three or more in each of the last three games she's played.
In other batting news, Graycee Skousen was incredible, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with one home run and three runs. Another player making a difference was Kloe Burden, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Holbrook came up short against Show Low on Tuesday, falling 19-3.
Holbrook saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tamryn Baldonado, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.
Holbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Snowflake, their win bumped their record up to 13-6.
Holbrook's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Snowflake has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 8.8 hits per game. It's a different story for Holbrook, though, as they've been averaging 9.7 hits. Given Snowflake's sizable advantage in that area, the Roadrunners will need to find a way to close that gap.
Snowflake took their victory against Holbrook when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 16-0 score. Do the Lobos have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Roadrunners turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
