Lake Park had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They came out on top against the Lincoln-Way Central Knights by a score of 2-0.

Leading Lake Park to victory were Luke Bonacci and Jake Ellenbecker. Bonacci had 13 digs, while Ellenbecker had eight assists and four digs. That's the most digs Bonacci has posted since back in May of 2024.

Lake Park's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Lincoln-Way Central, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 8-4 record.

Lake Park didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Lincoln-Way West on the 19th. As for Lincoln-Way Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Payton College Prep on the 17th.
