The New Manchester Jaguar will take on the Rome Wolves at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Rome will be up against a hot New Manchester team: the squad just extended their winning streak to seven. The Jaguar took their game last Friday with ease, bagging a 36-0 victory over Villa Rica.

New Manchester had a senior duo take command as Delancy Alexander rushed for 48 yards and one TD and Andre Gianopolous rushed for 115 yards and one score. Gianopolous is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 112 every time he's taken the field this season.

New Manchester was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 209 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 206 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Rome against South Paulding on Friday as the squad secured a 62-22 win. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 48-14.

New Manchester's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Rome, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.

New Manchester was dealt a bruising 35-7 defeat at the hands of Rome in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Jaguar were down 21-0.
