After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North Kansas City, Central was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Truman Patriots. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Greely Simpson paced Central's offense, picking up seven kills. Simpson got some help from Hayden Root and her 15 assists.

The win snapped Central's losing streak at four matches and leaves them with a 11-19 record. As for Truman, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-19.

Central has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Notre Dame de Sion on the 18th. As for Truman, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Raymore-Peculiar on the 20th.
