Soccer Game Preview: Cedartown vs. Woodland

Cedartown hasn't had much luck against Woodland recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Cedartown Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Woodland Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Cedartown has four straight victories, Woodland has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

If Cedartown beats Woodland with five goals on Tuesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. Cedartown came out on top against Central by a score of 5-3 on Thursday. Julianna Segura was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, while the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was Calhoun who was credited with the win on Friday. Calhoun got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Woodland's three.

Woodland's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Cedartown, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.
