Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only St. Luke's Episcopal walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Northside Methodist Academy Knights with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday. The victory was familiar territory for the Wildcats, who have now won three contests in a row.

Amelia Smith paced St. Luke's Episcopal's offense, picking up 16 kills. Smith got some help from Baker Garside and her 34 assists. Smith was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 11 aces.

St. Luke's Episcopal's win bumped their record up to 28-15. As for Northside Methodist Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-25.

St. Luke's Episcopal has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Mobile Christian on the 23rd. Northside Methodist Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
