Soccer Game Preview: Plainfield South vs. Stagg

The Plainfield South Cougars will take on the Stagg Chargers in a tournament on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Plainfield South is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Leyden. Plainfield South never let Leyden get on the board and left with a 3-0 win on Tuesday. The score was close at the half, but the Cougars pulled away in the second half with two goals.

Rachel Brayton and Jasmine Acosta scored all three of Plainfield South's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Meanwhile, Stagg got the win against Joliet Central on Tuesday by a conclusive 7-0.
