Anderson County has no trouble against Gibbs

The Anderson County Mavericks scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Gibbs with a sharp 95-70 win. The win was nothing new for Anderson County as they're now sitting on three straight.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Zack Turner, who scored 19 points along with seven assists and five rebounds. The game was Turner's 18th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Chase Norman, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds.

Anderson County is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. As for Gibbs, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Anderson County will take on Cumberland Gap at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Gibbs, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Clinton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Tennessee (Clinton is ranked 267th, while Gibbs is ranked 257th).
