Football Game Preview: Big Rapids Cardinals vs. Coopersville Broncos

The Big Rapids Cardinals will head out to face off against the Coopersville Broncos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Big Rapids will come into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

It was a proper cat-fight when Big Rapids duked it out with Grant on Friday. The Cardinals were the clear victors by a 26-0 margin over the Tigers. Considering the Cardinals have won six matchups by more than 24 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 21-21 at halftime, Coopersville was not quite Kenowa Hills' equal in the second half on Friday. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 34-31. The close contest was extra heartbreaking for the Broncos, who almost overcame a 21 point deficit.

Big Rapids' victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Coopersville, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Big Rapids strolled past Coopersville in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a score of 24-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cardinals since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
