Recap: North Pike Jaguars vs. Loyd Star Hornets
The North Pike Jaguars pushed their score all the way to 64 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They lost to Loyd Star on the road by a decisive 82-64 margin. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Tuesday (63), North Pike still had to take the loss.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Loyd Star to victory, but perhaps none more so than Colby Terrell, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan Mills, who scored 18 points along with 8 rebounds and 7 assists.
North Pike now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Loyd Star, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Pike will take on Franklin County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Loyd Star, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Enterprise at 7:30 p.m. on December 5th.
