Softball Recap: West Cabarrus Takes a Loss

West Cabarrus lost against A.L. Brown back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wolverines came up short against the Wonders, falling 9-3. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cadyn Ready made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double. Kamryn Weaks was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

West Cabarrus' loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for A.L. Brown, their record is now 6-3-1.

Looking ahead, West Cabarrus will venture away from home to square off against Independence at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Wolverines surely won't give up without a fight. As for A.L. Brown, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Carson at 6:00 p.m. The Wonders are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
