Volleyball Recap: Southeastern Local Wins Going Away Against Catholic Central

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Shawnee, Southeastern Local was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Everything went their way against the Catholic Central Irish as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Trojans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Irish, too.

Abby Davis was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had seven digs and three assists. Another player making a difference was Makenna Nesbitt, who had six digs and two aces.

Southeastern Local was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.

The victory got Southeastern Local back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Southeastern Local will head out to challenge Stivers School for the Arts at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Catholic Central, they will be playing at home against Greenon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
