Softball Recap: Keshequa Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

Keshequa strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Letchworth Legends by a score of 5-2. The Indians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Legends, too.

Keshequa pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Letchworth, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Keshequa will head out to challenge Geneseo at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Indians 3.2, the Blue Devils 1.6) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Letchworth, they will venture away from home to square off against Warsaw at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
