Recap: Roxana Shells vs. Freeburg Midgets
The Roxana Shells scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They took down Freeburg 61-46. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Roxana.
Chris Walleck continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 30 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Briggs, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Roxana has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Freeburg, they bumped their record down to 10-10 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Roxana will play host again and welcome Pana, where tip off is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on Monday. Freeburg will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on East Alton-Wood River at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th.
