Volleyball Recap: Redwood Extends Road Winning Streak to Six

Redwood proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Tamalpais Red Tailed Hawks 3-2. The Giants haven't had any issues with the Red Tailed Hawks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Redwood had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 22-25, 25-16, 25-7, 15-7.

Redwood pushed their record up to 13-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Tamalpais, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-5.

Redwood has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Sacred Heart Prep on the 28th. As for Tamalpais, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against St. Patrick-St. Vincent on the 29th.
