Baseball Recap: Henrietta Comes Up Short

Henrietta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Windthorst Trojans. That's two games in a row now that the Bearcats have lost by just one run.

Henrietta saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caden Frost, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Pate Cody also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Henrietta's loss dropped their record down to 13-12-1. As for Windthorst, they have been performing well recently as they've won 15 of their last 18 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Henrietta nor Windthorst have any future games scheduled.
