Volleyball Recap: Glenn Beats Alamo Heights for Their Third Straight Victory

Glenn lost to Alamo Heights back in August of 2022, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Grizzlies came out on top against the Mules by a score of 2-0. While the Grizzlies didn't have the best season last year (they finished 17-29), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Mia Brandl paced Glenn's offense, picking up ten kills. Brandl got some help from Briley Camp and her 16 assists. Brandl was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

The win (which was Glenn's third in a row) raised their record to 9-6. As for Alamo Heights, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.

Looking ahead, Glenn will venture away from home to challenge Lake Belton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Grizzlies are facing the Broncos at the right time seeing as the Broncos are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Alamo Heights, they will head out to face off against Tivy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
