The Chargin' Chargers have beaten the Wolves the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Wolves has come to flipping the script.
Keaton Brown spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on six hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Nolyn Brown was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tucker Hinds, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one double and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Lafayette Jefferson came up short against Harrison on Wednesday and fell 5-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Bronchos in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost five in a row.
Lafayette Jefferson also got a good showing from Trysten Barrett, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
On the hitting side, Lafayette Jefferson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alonzo Clawson-Smith, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double. That double was Clawson-Smith's first of the season.
Lafayette Jefferson suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 11-7. As for North Montgomery, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.
Lafayette Jefferson's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: North Montgomery hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .317. It's a different story for Lafayette Jefferson, though, as they've only averaged .250. Will they be able to contain North Montgomery's hitters?
