Crete-Monee extended the longest winning streak in Southland this week by beating Richwoods, 35-32. The victory was the 11th in a row for the Warriors.
Crete-Monee and the Knights played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Crete-Monee eventually emerging with a 35-32 victory. Laquon Treadwell ran for 34 yards in the win.
Rich South's Brandon Zachery and Jayen Zachery have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Zachery has thrown for 2262 yards this season, while Zachery, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 60 catches for 1141 yards. Bloom's Justus Brantley leads the league in rushing yards with 1026.
Jerry Verde's team led Southland in scoring this week after putting up 35 points on Richwoods. Treadwell in the win.
