Andrew Janasiewicz made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple was his first of the season. Declan Kowbuz was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.
Meanwhile, Central waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They never let the Eagles get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Cobras, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.
Gabe Davids tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over five innings pitched.
On the hitting side, Dominick Grimaldi was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in February of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Jakobe Blackwood, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.
Central always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .567. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Centennial only posted an OBP of .130.
Conifer's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Central, their record is now 8-5.
Wednesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Conifer has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .463. However, it's not like Central struggles in that department as they've averaged .481. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
