Baseball Recap: Dover-Eyota Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Dover-Eyota's offense. They fell just short of the St. Charles Fighting Saints by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. The Eagles' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Dover-Eyota saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joel Skrukrud, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Dover-Eyota's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for St. Charles, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.
