Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Field). Everything went their way against the Sky View Bobcats on Wednesday as West Field made off with a 15-5 victory. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Longhorns with their most commanding win of the season.

Bryce Bagby looked comfortable as he pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, West Field got a massive performance out of Kanyon Pratt, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three doubles, and three RBI. Those doubles marked the first that Pratt hit this season. Boston Kap was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI.

West Field always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .629. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

West Field now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Sky View, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-7.

West Field will have a chance to go back-to-back against Sky View: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
