Volleyball Recap: Harding Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Harding was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Kirtland Hornets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Skippers of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2019.

Harding took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-8, 25-18.

Among those leading the charge was Willa Gordon, who had seven digs and four aces. She has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last six times she's played.

Harding's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Kirtland, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-7.

Harding does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kirtland, they will be taking part in a tournament against LaBrae at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
