Softball Game Preview: Caprock Longhorns vs. Bells Panthers

The Caprock Longhorns will square off against the Bells Panthers at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.

Friday just wasn't the day for Caprock's offense. They fell 3-0 to S & S Consolidated on Friday. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Longhorns' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Bells got themselves on the board against Legacy Christian Academy on Friday, but Legacy Christian Academy never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 14-0 margin over the Eagles. Considering the Panthers have won five games by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Bells' victory bumped their record up to 8-1-1. As for Caprock, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-2 record.
