Basketball Recap: Millard South's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Millard South on Saturday. They strolled past the Elkhorn South Storm with points to spare, taking the game 62-45. That's more bragging rights for the Patriots, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Abbi Durow was her usual excellent self, going 6 for 15 en route to 18 points. Liv Woockman was another key player, putting up nine points and five assists.

Millard South was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Elkhorn South only racked up three assists.

Several Storm players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Liv Schieber, who posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Rowan Swartz, who put up nine points.
