Volleyball Recap: Justin Garza Takes a Loss

After flying high against Kingsburg on Thursday, Justin Garza came back down to earth. The Guardians took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clovis North Broncos on Tuesday. The Guardians have struggled against the Broncos recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Justin Garza started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-22, 25-21, 25-16.

Justin Garza's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Justin Garza will square off against Clovis West at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Clovis North, they will take on Central Valley Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
