Soccer Recap: Dobbs Ferry Takes a Loss

It was a Battle of the Birds when Dobbs Ferry faced off against Albertus Magnus on Friday. The Eagles lost 9-0 to the Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Albertus Magnus this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 last Tuesday.

Dobbs Ferry's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Albertus Magnus, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dobbs Ferry will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Eastchester at 4:45 p.m. on October 7. As for Albertus Magnus, they will venture away from home to square off against Immaculate Heart Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
