Imhotep Charter skates past Strath Haven with ease

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Imhotep Charter Panthers had no problem doing just that on Friday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 42-14 win over the Panthers. Considering Imhotep Charter has won ten matchups by more than 23 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Imhotep Charter got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Mikal Davis jr out in front who threw for 336 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 14.0 yards per attempt. Those 336 passing yards set a new season-high mark for Davis jr. The team also got some help courtesy of Kareem Haqq, who picked up 99 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

The victory for Imhotep Charter keeps them at an undefeated 14-0. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 35.93 points. As for Strath Haven, their loss dropped their record down to 13-2.

Imhotep Charter is on the road again on Friday and play against Peters Township at 7:00 p.m. on December 8th. Peters Township will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line. Strath Haven does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
