Volleyball Game Preview: Bloomfield Bengals vs. Millburn Millers

The Bloomfield Bengals will head out to challenge the Millburn Millers at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Bloomfield has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with four straight losses, while Millburn will come in with seven straight wins.

On Wednesday, Bloomfield didn't have quite enough to beat West Caldwell Tech and fell 2-1. While the Bengals didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Eagles 25-19 in the first set.

Bloomfield started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-23, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Millburn earned a 2-0 victory over West Orange on Thursday.

Millburn easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-14.

Millburn's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4. As for Bloomfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-8.
