 In what's become a running theme this season, Albany gave their fans yet another huge  win on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by  a  10-4 margin over the Pinole Valley Spartans. That's more bragging rights for Albany, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
  Lauren Jones was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with two  runs, a  triple,  and two  RBI.  Mackenzie Marion was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while going 3-for-4.
 On Pinole Valley's side,  Julissa Sanchez was cooking despite her team's loss,   scoring two  runs and  stealing three bases while going 3-for-4. Sanchez is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  stolen  at least one in the last eight games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Gabriella Ornelas, who  went 2-for-4 with a  stolen base and two  RBI.
 Albany's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Pinole Valley, they dropped their record down to 10-9-1 with that  defeat, which was their fourth straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 As of now, neither Albany nor Pinole Valley have any future games scheduled.
