Airport took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against Huron, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Jets had just enough and edged out the Chiefs 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Jets have posted since April 16th.

The victory made it two in a row for Airport and bumps their season record up to 7-12. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 runs in those games. As for Huron, their loss dropped their record down to 18-3.
