Volleyball Recap: Key West Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory + How To Watch

Key West came tearing into Thursday's game with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Marathon Dolphins with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Conchs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Key West was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-11, 25-16.

Leading Key West to victory were Molly McKnight and Dianeza Gonzalez. McKnight had five digs and two aces, while Gonzalez had eight digs and one assist. McKnight has been hot for a while, having also posted 20 or more assists the last ten times she's played. Scarlett Chmielewski also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 11-7. As for Marathon, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Coming up, Key West will square off against Coral Shores at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Marathon, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Franklin Academy on the 22nd.
