Recap: Robertson County Black Devils vs. Felicity-Franklin Cardinals
After soaring to 56 points the game before, the Robertson County Black Devils were a bit more limited in their matchup on Wednesday. They were outmatched by Felicity-Franklin on the road and fell 85-18. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Robertson County has scored all season.
Zander Marlow was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 13 steals for Felicity-Franklin. Those 13 steals set a new season-high mark for him. Landen Forbes was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Robertson County are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9. As for Felicity-Franklin, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
Robertson County will finish 2023 at home by hosting Covington Latin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Felicity-Franklin won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington at 6:30 p.m. on December 28th. Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
