There's no place like home for Johnsonville, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 21-8 win over the Latta Vikings on Friday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Leading Johnsonville to victory were Zaghe Davis and Larkin Powell. Davis rushed for 66 yards and one touchdown, while Powell rushed for 34 yards and a pair of TDs.

Johnsonville has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 27.6 points over those games. As for Latta, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-2.
