Baseball Recap: Friends Takes a Loss

Friends managed to slip by Park School the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Quakers came up short against the Bruins on Wednesday, falling 10-0. The Quakers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bruins apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Friends and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for Park School, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Friends will challenge Chapelgate Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Yellowjackets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.2 runs per game on average), something the Quakers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Park School, they are taking a road trip to face off against Sts. Peter & Paul at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bruins are facing the Sabres at the right time seeing as the Sabres are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
