Softball Game Preview: Belmont Bison vs. Tippecanoe Red Devils

The Belmont Bison will head out on the road to challenge the Tippecanoe Red Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Belmont has given up an average of 6.8 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Belmont fell victim to National Trail and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Blazers, falling 12-0. The Bison have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Tippecanoe had just enough and edged out Stebbins 9-8 on Tuesday. The Red Devils haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Belmont's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Tippecanoe, their win bumped their record up to 19-6.
