Joe Harris Delivers Best Performance of Season

Sadly, Joe Harris posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Hayden over Plateau Valley on Friday. Harris rushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries.

Hayden now has a losing record at 2-3. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Tigers faces off against Rangely at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Virgil James Kuper put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in October of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 193 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (113.5) per game. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up three sacks, forcing a fumble, and making seven total tackles.

Plateau Valley's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2. Kuper will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Lake County on Saturday.
