It was a good run, but Enloe unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Franklin Academy Patriots by a score of 3-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Enloe of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2025.

Alicia Okonkwo and Maddie Clarke scored both of Enloe's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.

Enloe's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2-1. As for Franklin Academy, their record now sits at 12-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Enloe will host Millbrook at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Millbrook will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Enloe surely won't give up without a fight. As for Franklin Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Research Triangle at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
