Volleyball Recap: Spruce Creek Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Danecca Sampson and Logan Milan + How To Watch

Spruce Creek suffered their biggest loss since September 19, 2024 on Wednesday. They came up short against the Osceola Kowboys, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hawks of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2021.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-15, 25-12.

Spruce Creek's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Logan Milan, who had 16 digs, and Danecca Sampson, who had. Milan has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last six times she's played.

Osceola found their leader in sophomore Priscilla Rada, who had eight digs and two aces.

Spruce Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Osceola, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Spruce Creek will square off against Mainland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Osceola, they will take on IMG Academy Royal at 12:10 p.m. on Friday.
