Conard is a perfect 4-0 against South Windsor since October of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Red Wolves will look to defend their home field against the Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

As a matter of fact, Conard put up the most points they have all season on Saturday. They secured an 80-74 W over East Hartford. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since September 14, 2018, but that streak is no more.

Among those leading the charge was Justin Nanayakkara, who rushed for 25 yards and one score, and also caught one TD.

Nanayakkara was just one part of a punishing run game: Conard was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 269 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

Meanwhile, South Windsor really took it to Simsbury for the full four quarters, racking up a 43-14 victory. The Bobcats pushed the score to 36-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Trojans cut but never quite recovered from.

The win got Conard back to even at 2-2. As for South Windsor, the victory also got them back to even at 2-2.

Conard barely slipped by South Windsor in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 43-42. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Bobcats' Ethan Burke, who rushed for 262 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.0 yards per carry.
