Basketball Recap: Menominee Comes Up Short

Menominee lost against Oconto back in January of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Menominee Maroons took a 52-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oconto Blue Devils. The Maroons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Menominee's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11-1. As for Oconto, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Looking ahead, Menominee will take on Escanaba at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oconto, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 70-18 victory against Peshtigo on the 14th.
