Football Recap: Cabrillo Takes a Loss

Cabrillo fell victim to Lompoc and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They were dealt a 41-0 defeat at the hands of the Braves. While losing is never fun, the Conquistadores can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 544th, while the Braves are ranked 90th).

Cabrillo is on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3. As for Lompoc, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Cabrillo has already played their next contest, a 13-0 loss against San Luis Obispo on the 13th. As for Lompoc, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 28-7 win against Righetti on the 13th.
