There's no place like home for Lorena, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Crawford Pirates on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Leopards: when they faced off against the Pirates back in August, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

Lorena was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least 25 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 0-25, 25-0, 25-0.

Crawford's loss came despite strong showings from Leyton Minnix and Averi Bolgiano. Minnix had 22 digs and four aces, while Bolgiano had 26 digs and three assists. Bolgiano has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last nine times she's played. Charis Milam also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Lorena is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season. As for Crawford, their defeat ended a ten-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 14-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lorena will head out to square off against University at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crawford, they will venture away from home to challenge Johnson City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
