Baseball Recap: Greenbrier West Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Greenbrier West's offense. They lost 11-0 to the Wyoming East Warriors on Saturday. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Cavaliers were not able to get on the board.

Greenbrier West saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon McClung, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

This is the second loss in a row for Greenbrier West and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Wyoming East, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Greenbrier West didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-3 win against Pocahontas County on the 7th. As for Wyoming East, they have also already played their next game, a 4-2 victory against Midland Trail on the 8th.
