Volleyball Game Preview: Menahga Braves vs. Verndale Pirates

The Menahga Braves will face off against the Verndale Pirates at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

Menahga is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Nevis just ended the team's five-match winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 3-2.

Meanwhile, Verndale had to endure a three-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on Laporte with a sharp 3-0 win on Monday.

Verndale's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Menahga, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11-2.

Menahga was able to grind out a solid win over Verndale in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 3-1. Will the Braves repeat their success, or do the Pirates have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
