Soccer Recap: Bishop Kenny Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

After low-scoring totals in their previous four contests, Bishop Kenny brought some dynamite into their most recent game. Their defense stepped up to hand the Providence School Stallions a 7-0 shutout on Friday. Given the Crusaders' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 180th, while the Stallions are ranked 408th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bishop Kenny's victory bumped their record up to 8-5-2. As for Providence School, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Bishop Kenny nor Providence School have any future games scheduled.
