Soccer Recap: Pinewood Takes a Loss

Pinewood managed to keep up with Crystal Springs Uplands until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Pinewood Panthers lost 6-0 to the Crystal Springs Uplands Gryphons. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Gryphons recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Pinewood's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Crystal Springs Uplands, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pinewood will square off against Harker at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Crystal Springs Uplands, they will take on Menlo School at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Menlo School has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 13 goals over their last three matchups.
