Volleyball Recap: Lakota Has No Trouble Against Northwood

Lakota won the last time they faced Northwood and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Raiders put the hurt on the Rangers with a sharp 3-0 win.

Lakota never let Northwood on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-16, 26-24.

Queen Beard paced Lakota's offense, picking up 25 kills. Beard got some help from Sophia Bomer and her 37 assists. Beard was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Lakota now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Northwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lakota is set to take on their familiar foe Hopewell-Loudon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Northwood will face off against rival Gibsonburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
