Basketball Game Preview: Oxbow Olympians vs. North Country Union Falcons

The Oxbow Olympians will head out to face off against the North Country Union Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Oxbow comes in on four and North Country Union on 13.

Last Saturday, Oxbow strolled past U-32 with points to spare, taking the game 59-40.

Meanwhile, everything went North Country Union's way against Lyndon Institute on Saturday as North Country Union made off with a 51-28 victory. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Oxbow pushed their record up to 15-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.1 points. As for North Country Union, their victory bumped their record up to 15-1.

Oxbow was dealt a bruising 68-27 defeat at the hands of North Country Union when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Can Oxbow avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
